News of the People Magazine Wins Africa Business Excellence Award In Europe.

Loye Amzat, the publisher of Nigeria’s fastest rising society magazine, News of the People scored another first, last weekend as he bagged the excellence award of the annual Africa Business and Excellence Awards which took place in Dublin, Ireland. Loye Amzat’s reception of the International excellence award is based on his ability and creativity in reporting stories in a lively, direct, and unambiguous manner. The Publisher and Editor in Chief of News of the Peoples Magazine pioneered the all-colour magazine which many of his competitors have emulated but later dropped. He is also the first to take soft sell magazine to the internet. He has continued to dominate the society magazine genre with his bold headlines and consistency and described as a role model for the youths. In 2010, News of the People in Abuja was adjudged the Society Magazine of the year 2010 by the Press Gallery and the accolades are still counting. Others who also bagged the prestigious award alongside News of the People include Dr Hannatu Fika, Executive Secretary of the Civil Service Loans Board, Clement Etuh of Tak group. Other recipients include Nigerian born John Godson, the first African parliamentarian in Poland, Ghanaian born Mayor Peter Bossman of Piran, the first African Mayor in Slovenia, Cllr Emer Costello- Former Dublin City Lord Mayor and Mr. John Perry TD the guest Speaker. The award was presented to Mrs. Bunmi Amzat, who was there on behalf of her husband, by Marie Corr, the former Mayor of the City of Dublin and had the, Ambassador of Kenya to Ireland, the ambassador of Poland to Ireland HE Marcin Nawrot, Deputy Cllr. Joe Costello TD and the ambassador of Ethiopia to Ireland as guest at the event. The event took place at Red Cow Hotel in Dublin and Special guests include the Mayor of South Dublin and the Mayor of Dublin city amongst the business community and top Irish politicians, The classic award was put together by Bold & Beautiful Int’l Magazine, which is also the organizer of the Ireland African Music Awards.
