ETCETERA EXTENDS LOVE TO FELLOW MUSICIANS...EMBARKS ON TOUR

Writes Desmond Ike
Paschal Ejikeme, known by many as Etcetera, is at it again. The soft rock crooner who didn’t renew his contract with Steve Babaeko’s X3M Music last year, is at the moment preparing for his national tour in collaboration with City FM, tagged Etcetera and the City. The tour which will have the singer reeling out songs from his current album is due to start in September, here in Lagos. After which it will extend to other cities in the country. Etcetera is a rare kind of artiste who cherishes good music and all it stands for. To prove this, he has decided to extend his love to his fellow musicians, especially those who have contributed immensely to the growth of good music in the country, by giving out a copy of his autographed latest album, ‘Yes I am Etcetra’ to the likes of Onyeka Onwenu, Sir Shina Peters, Paul IK Dairo, Pa. Victor Olaiya, Ebenezer Obey, King Sunny Ade, Admiral Dele Abiodun, 2Face Idibia, Tony Okoroji and others. It would be recalled that Etcetera once sang about the afflictions of the civil war (Biafra War) in 1957. The song, titled Biafra, gave his brand a very high recognition and earned him a special recognition award from the United Nation. We also learnt that the UN is considering making him an ambassador.

9ICE AND TONI PAYNE RECNCILES AT LAST …ABANDON ABULEGBA MANSION FOR RENTED MAGODO APARTMENT

Yes! 9ice and Tony Payne finally reconciled and this is authoritative. Our eagle eyed reporter, Okabe Promise spotted the Gongoaso crooner in company of his once estranged wife, Toni Payne in Magodo, a high brow estate located in the heart of Isheri North in Lagos. According to our investigation, 9ice and Toni Payne, his wife whom he reconciled with lately had on the same day, come to pay for a three bedroom apartment in Gateway Street in Madodo, which cost them a whopping one million naira per annum, and they paid for two years. The agent who got them the house has his office in Tob Plazaa popular shopping complex inside the same estate.
Wondering why the couple will abandon their Abule-Egba home for a rented apartment in Magodo, our source hinted that the couple wanted to stay away from theprying eyes of the public and the press. Another reason given is the thatthey wanted  to have their family (9ice’s parents who live in their Abule-Egba mansion) out of the way of their family members, considering the fact that they  were allegedly responsible for the set back their union suffered in the past, according to Toni Payne, in an interview shortly after their breakup.
A call was put across to Toni Payne, who denied the story. Speaking on it, she said “I am tired of all these, the people saying these things have families of their own, let them go and handle their own homes. I’m tired of all these talks.”
Recall that 9ice Toni Payne breakup was among the highly celebrated breakups in the history of showbiz in the country and we hope this time they have come together for good, haven realized their mistakes.
