It is a stale news to say that the popular business man, Philanthropist and billionaire oil magnate and the CEO of Capital Oil and Gas Mr Ifeanyi Ubak has joined the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) after several weeks of speculation and consultations.
We at reportnigeria.blogspot.com have it on good authority that the Nnewi born billionaire wants to be the governor of Anambra State in the next election.
Already, his giant billboards and posters are strategically placed in same major cities of the state, especially Awka, the state Capital.
We also gathered that, Ifeanyi Ubah has gotten the support of chief Victor Umeh, the National Chairman of APGA, he also confirmed that the international business man is now a proud and card carrying member of APGA.
However, he refuted the rumour that the incumbent governor, Mr Peter Obi, had already endorsed Ubah's candidacy. Umeh, also made it clear that they would support Ubah whenever he declares his intention to fly the party's flag at the governorship election.
Meanwhile, Ubah's triumphant entrance into the race is sending shivers down the spines of several contenders, who are already seeing him as a big threat.
As part of the political strategies the Ifeanyi Ubah foundation (IUF), has been busy distributing cash and gifts items to the less privileged in Anambra state, is seen by many as one of the strong weapons Ubah is using to fast track his fast growing political base, especially at the grass roots level.
Keep a date with us here as we promise to bring you update on his activities prior to the forth coming election in Anambra state.
