And as expected left many injured and many others dead.

BOMB BLAST IN ABUJA CLAIM LIVES!
It was panic in the city of Abuja this morning, December 25, 2011, as a A bomb explosion this morning rocked St Theresa Catholic Church, Madala near suleja, on the outskirt of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
According to eyewitnesses account, the bomb exploded in a car packed at the church's car park.
The Church building and other adjoining buildings caught fire, leaving many injured and others dead.
Although no group is yet to claim responsibility for the explosion, but people are already accusing the Boko Haram sect as being responsible.
Meanwhile, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) spokesman Yushau Shuaib and a local police spokesman, Richard Oguche, confirmed the incident to the Associated Press saying the blast happened Sunday morning as the Catholic Church was holding its Christmas mass.
