MEET THE GUY WHO ROCKED WHITNEY HOUSTON AT THE LAST HOURS!

Whitney Houston with Ray J
R&B singer and reality star Ray J, 31, has always denied any romantic link to Whitney Houston, the superstar pop singer who was found dead Saturday in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. She was 48, 17 years his senior.

There is no denying the two had a special bond.

Romance rumors began circulating in 2007 when the "I Will Always Love You" singer ended her 14-year marriage to R&B bad boy Bobby Brown. A year later, they were photographed enjoying dinner at Beverly Hills hot spot Mastro's and spotted at the Bernard Hopkins-verses-Joe Calzaghe fight in Las Vegas. Around that time, Ray J (the younger brother of R&B singer Brandy) told People magazine: "We like singing, music, movies. We just watched 'The Pursuit Of Happyness.'"
When grilled about his relationship, Ray J coyly only said it was "hush hush."
"We've always tried to keep our relationship as private as we could, but when we go out she's such an icon it reaches the masses," he said. "But for the most part, we've just been friends and we've always just kept things hush hush and just quiet and we don't focus on that." Ray J was among the people who were with Houston during her final days. During a club outing last Thursday in L.A., The Hollywood Reporter claimed that he helped diffuse a spat that Houston had with former "X Factor" contestant Stacy Francis.
Though he has yet to comment on Houston's death, Ray J (who famously dated Kim Kardashian) is surely among the many mourning her loss. According to the Los Angeles Times, he was seen with three friends pacing through the Beverly Hills hotel Sunday morning repeatedly muttering, "Whitney dead."

UK BASED GOSPEL SINGER EULOGISIES JONATHAN

United Kingdom based Nigerian singer, Julie A Dee has opined that prayers, understanding and support for government policies is what the Nation needs as against the present outburst of anger being witnessed in the Nation today.

The university of Abuja alumni who spoke to our reporter on telephone from London said steps being taken by Good Luck Jonathan’s administration, has the youths and children yet unborn as the greatest beneficiaries ”it makes me laugh when I hear people say Jonathan is slow; he doesn’t have the guts to handle Nigeria and all kinds of things; but each time I hear these things I always ask myself if these people, particularly fellow singers do stop and think of the positive impact Jonathan’s policies have on our lives and our nascent democracy...”

As she talked about the impact of Jonathan’s policies, she also encouraged both the gospel and the secular acts to pray and drum up support for the government through their music, a move that she said she has brought to bear in her next album “Jonathan is a loyalist and a staunch supporter of the rule of law, if not why will he fold his hands and allow five of his party governors be sent out of the office. The removal of subsidy is for us all, because he wants to give the children of the poor the same opportunities as the rich”

Ebony skinned beauty who said her album is yet to be titled, ended by stating categorically that her music “is a tool for change”.” I am not talking about change for individuals; rather I am talking about generational change”. And I wish more Nigerian entertainers will continue to use their talent and fame to explain the benefits of the government policies as against leading the people away.
